Ryosuke Hirata, who was looking for a transfer destination after receiving a notification from professional baseball Chunichi, will retire.

Hirata joined Chunichi in 2006 from Osaka Toin High School in the first round of the high school draft.

With his long hitting power and stable defense, he achieved Best Nine in 2015, cycle hits in 2018, and won the Golden Glove Award.

However, since the season two years ago, he has played in 51 games, mainly as a pinch hitter.

In October this year, the team told me that they would not sign a contract for the next season, but "I'm already on my way to the next one. I don't know if other teams will call me, but I'm preparing." and indicated his intention to continue working.

However, he could not find a transfer destination, and on the 28th, Hirata announced on his SNS, "Ryosuke Hirata has decided to retire," and announced his retirement.

After that, he commented, "I'm still looking into the future. However, I want to give dreams to children through baseball, no matter what form it takes."
