Sharjah wins over Dibba Al-Fujairah.. Al-Wahda bids farewell to 2022 with a disappointing loss
The Sharjah team temporarily topped the UAE Football League, after defeating its host Dibba Al-Fujairah 2-0 during the match that brought them together today, Sunday, in the twelfth round of the competition, which also witnessed Ajman's victory over Al-Wahda 1-0.
Sharjah's goals were scored by Khaled Ibrahim in the 11th minute of stoppage time for the first half, and Osman Kamara in the 70th minute.
The match witnessed the dismissal of Mansour Abbas, the Dibba Al-Fujairah player, in the 21st minute, and Miralem Pjanic, the Sharjah player, in the 17th minute.
Sharjah raised its score to 26 points at the top of the standings, temporarily, and Dibba Al-Fujairah's balance stopped at four points in the penultimate thirteenth place.
In the second match, Ajman defeated Al Wahda with a clean goal scored by Miral Samardzic in the 75th minute.
Ajman raised its score to 23 points in third place, and Al Wahda's balance stopped at 23 points in fourth place.
