As I enter the stadium, there is a magical atmosphere in the air.

The track is wet, a few hours ago a rainbow shone over the stadium.

I can feel the tension on the track and in the audience.

prime time.

I look at the sky, then it starts.

Louisa Geiger runs much too fast, I follow.

Halfway through the race I'm 15 seconds faster than my best time.

After 1800 meters I think: I still feel good.

The last three laps there are only three of us.

I clearly remember the moment I passed Lizzie.

I know what she looks like when she can't take it anymore, we've known each other for a long time.

As I walk by, I hear the audience.

I've never heard anything so loud.

I feel like I'm in the football stadium.

Lizzie walks past me again, take a deep breath.

I start the second attack with 300 meters to go.

I see her face out of the corner of my eye.

She is tense, focused, desperately wants to, but can no longer.

The last moat.

my legs are closed

To make sure.

I see the banner under the beam.

White writing on a blue background, the word: Jump!

I have to grin.

I say to myself: "Lea, raise your feet and over it." I put my right foot on the beam, pushed off, let go inside.

I try to enjoy the last hundred meters.

I'm overwhelmed at the finish.

All emotions come over me.

One of my first thoughts: Henning, my late coach.

The first people I see were with him from my training group.

You look at each other, you know what the gaze stands for.

Many have asked me about the rainbow.

I think to myself: That was Henning, he sent me a sign.
