Fujairah Chess "praises the brilliance of its players in the President's Cup"

The Fujairah Chess and Culture Club praised the performance and results achieved by three of its players by achieving advanced positions in the President's Cup for men, youth and juniors, which concluded in the capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 105 players from 17 clubs representing the elite players of the UAE in chess.


The club’s board of directors, headed by Dr. Abdullah Al Barakat, congratulated His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and to His Highness Sheikh Saleh bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Head of the Department of Industry and Economy in Fujairah, on the occasion of the distinguished achievement Which reflects the distinguished status of Fujairah chess at the local and international levels, after the player Ammar Muhammad Al-Sidrani won second place in the men's category after he tied with Abu Dhabi club player Omran Al-Hosani and came second after a decisive round in blitz chess.

The player Mohammed Saeed Al-Laili won the third place in the men’s category, and in a distinguished achievement that deserves praise, the player Muhammad Yusuf Al Ali won the third place in the junior category, in the player’s first participation in the most expensive tournament, while the club’s players Amer Saeed Al-Laili, Saud Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Hamad Muhammad Al-Marashda and Khalifa Khaled Al-Hafiti achieved centers are good.
