The resigned coach of the Brazilian national team, Adenor Leonardo Bacci, known as "Tite", was physically assaulted and robbed by a citizen in his country.

MARCA stated that Titi was robbed while he was walking at 6:00 am, Brazilian time, in a street in Rio de Janeiro.

The Spanish newspaper stated that Titi was walking in the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, which is one of the rich and sub-districts of Rio de Janeiro.

Titi was surprised by this attitude, although he was very careful not to be noticed by passers-by.

Marca highlighted the information of Brazilian journalist Anselmo Goes, who confirmed that someone assaulted Tite, due to the national team's elimination against Croatia in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The 61-year-old coach was not injured, but Joyce confirmed that Tite lost one of his possessions after the accident.

Titi is currently in Rio de Janeiro with his family, where he is studying his future options, whether he will continue to work as a football coach, or retire.

It is noteworthy that Titi submitted his resignation from coaching the national team, hours after losing to Croatia, in the quarter-finals of the Qatar World Cup 2022, in the match that took place on Friday, December 9, at the Education City Stadium.

He said in a press conference that day, "I am not the only one who lost, the entire team lost, and I understand that I am the most responsible for the exclusion, I will not be a hypocrite."

Tite added, "This is how football is. Sometimes you win and others lose, and I respect the result. This is the end of my era with the Brazilian national team."

And the resigned coach concluded, "I already said it a year and a half ago, and I stand by my word. There are many wonderful coaches who are able to take over the task instead of me."

Tite took over the task of coaching the Brazil national team on June 16, 2016, and his contract with the “Selecao” was renewed on July 26, 2018, days after the end of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, in which he bid farewell to the “samba” in the quarter-finals as well.

Since then, Tite has led Brazil in 81 matches, winning 61, drawing 14 and losing only 6 matches.

Tite led Brazil to crown the 2019 Copa America, but finished runner-up in the 2021 edition, behind his Argentine counterpart and rival.
