Ovechkin scores 802 NHL goals to take second place in history

Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin scored two goals during the meeting and reached the mark of 802 goals in his NHL career.

Thus, the striker overtook Gordie Howe (801) in the list of the best snipers in the hockey league and came in second place.

The meeting was held at the stadium "Capital One Arena" in Washington (USA) and ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of the hosts.
