The draw for the third round of the Spanish Cup in football resulted in easy confrontations for adults, most notably Real Madrid and its rivals Barcelona.
Real Madrid, the league champion, Barcelona, its runner-up, Real Betis, the champion of the Cup competition, and Valencia, its runner-up, joined the 28 clubs that qualified for the third round.
Real Madrid came in the face of amateur-class Caserinho, who ousted Girona in the second round (2-1), and Barcelona with Intercity.
The draw left one confrontation between two first-class teams, Espanyol and Celta Vigo.
The matches will be held between January 3 and 5.
