The former AIK goalkeeper who broke through and won SM gold is back in the Allsvenskan.

It was in 2020 that Linnér took the step from AIK to German Arminia Bielefeld.

But that time was not so successful and the Swede never got to make his senior team debut.

He was loaned to Italian Brescia and then signed for Gif Sundsvall - to get a fresh start in his career.

Yes, it was not a fresh start.

Because the stay in Norrland was, to say the least, both strange and eventful.

After a publicized interview after he was poked in the Allsvenskan premiere against Sirius, the club chose to break the contract.

Now he is ready for the newcomer Brommapojkarna.

- It is a very good opportunity for me to be able to join BP in this situation.

I know the association well from before when I played in BP as a youth.

Now I'm looking forward to representing BP at senior level in the Allsvenskan, says Linnér to the club's website.

Linnér has recently returned from a short stay in Aalborg, Denmark.
