Italy is one of the countries that benefits the most from European solidarity: 75 billion euros over the last 7 years for the cohesion policy, 200 billion euros for the recovery plan.

Giorgia Meloni, new President of the Italian Council, however intends to "renegotiate" the terms of this solidarity and displays positions on the migratory or social questions which are shaking up Brussels and raising questions from its partners.
