The Tampa Bay Lightning have been progressing like a steamroller lately.

Before tonight's meeting with the Toronto Maple Leafs, they had won five straight games and 12 of their last 16.

But last night they encountered a patrol, in the form of Toronto's Swedes.

They had a big part in Toronto being able to win 4–1.

William Nylander opened by playing up to Michael Bunting's 1-0 goal and then finished by putting the nail in the coffin with his 4-1 goal in the open box, set up by Calle Järnkrok (making his 600th NHL game ).

In between, Rasmus Sandin managed to play until the 2–0 goal and Pierre Engvall scored 3–1.

Sandin also suffered a neck injury and was forced to retire in the second period.

- It's more of a safety measure than anything else, but it may take a while before it's completely good, says Toronto coach Sheldon Keefe to the Toronto Sun.
