The Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, announced by the Organizing Committee in June this year, will cost 1,423.8 billion yen, of which 596.5 billion yen will be borne by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and 186.9 billion yen by the national government.
On the other hand, the Board of Audit has not included in this, the investigation expenses associated with the construction of the National Stadium, the relocation expenses of the surrounding facilities, the subsidies for the renovation of the tournament facilities such as the Yokohama International Stadium, and the number of players of the Japanese national team.
