Now the following eight candidates remain: Women's relay team, biathlon, Armand Duplantis, athletics, Marcus Ericsson, car sports, Men's national team, handball, Sandra Näslund, ski cross, Jonna Sundling, cross-country skiing, Nils van der Poel, ice skating, Henrik von Eckermann, equestrian sports.
The prize is awarded at the Sports Gala on 16 January next year.
The national show jumping team, with Henrik von Eckermann, Malin Baryard and Peder Fredricson, won the Jerring prize most recently.
