An Egyptian man in his 20s died of a heart attack after the World Cup final, Spanish media Marca reported.



According to the media, a 26-year-old man named Mostafa Abdel Al died of a heart attack about two hours after watching the 2022 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France at a restaurant in Cairo, Egypt.



The man, who is known to support Argentina and Lionel Messi, returned home after Argentina's victory was confirmed, and posted on social media, 'Today is the best day of my life' expressing his joy at Messi and Argentina's victory. .



He later suffered a heart attack and was taken to a nearby hospital, but never regained consciousness.



Gamal Saban, a cardiologist at Egypt's National Institute of Heart Disease, described the man's cause of death as "happy heart syndrome" in which the heart is strained due to excessive joy over Messi's victory.

In Bangladesh, there has been a death due to the World Cup soccer tournament.



AFP reported, "Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in a square in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, to watch the World Cup final on a large screen," and "many people cheered for Argentina and Messi wearing Argentina national team uniforms."
