Bernard Laporte more and more isolated.

The president of the French Rugby Federation will propose Thursday to the Minister of Sports “his withdrawal” from his functions pending his appeal trial, announced Monday evening the FFR.

He was sentenced last Tuesday to a two-year suspended prison sentence for corruption.

Bernard Laporte will also propose to Amélie Oudéa-Castéra his temporary replacement by a delegate president, indicated the Federation in a press release following a Federal Bureau.

The National Rugby League and the Ethics Committee of the Federation had asked Bernard Laporte to resign from his post.
