The Olympic flame of the Paris 2024 Olympics will make a stopover in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

The decision was taken during the departmental council on Thursday, reports France Bleu Roussillon.

To be able to welcome the flame and finance the event, the department will pay 150,000 euros.
