For a long time it looked as if William Poromaa would become the best Swede.
Poromaa opened strongly and was third after 2.6 kilometers – less than a second behind leader Golberg.
At 6.3 km he was still fifth, just 4.3 seconds behind.
But then the 21-year-old lost and at the finish he was 15th.
In fact, he was passed by Calle Halfvarsson, who even went faster than Golberg from the final split to the finish.
Halfvarsson climbed from 14th to tenth and was finally 26.8 seconds behind the winner.
