After double shoulder operations and an absence of almost two years, Linn Svahn was back yesterday and won the national sprint competition in Idre in superior style.

Afterwards, she opened for a comeback in the World Cup the very next weekend in Davos.

- I have said that I want to go to Davos, it is in the World Cup that I want to perform and if I am asked, I will take a stand then, she told SVT Sport after the race in Idre.

Nor does national team manager Anders Byström close the door for Svahn to participate already in Davos.

- It depends a little on how the injury and illness situation is here in the national team in general.

We get to talk to her after the weekend and find out if she wants to go to the World Cup, and if it works.

It is above all that, how it feels in all the muscles and joints after the weekend.

She hasn't competed in a while, says Byström to TT.

- But she is probably relevant for the World Cup in the future, absolutely.

On Tuesday, it will be announced which skiers will come to Switzerland next weekend.
