26-year-old Näslund has been skicross' clear dominant in recent years.

And when the new World Cup season kicked off this week in Val Thorens, it was exactly as usual.

Led the entire final

She won yesterday's premiere, and followed that up by doing the same today.

In the final, she took the lead straight away, and extended it all the way to the finish.

She was never threatened, and at the finish line was over two seconds ahead of runner-up Hannah Schmidt of Canada.

- It was really fun to ride today.

They were tough races, but I had really good skis and tried to go fast.

I'm glad it was enough, she said in the official victory interview.

Won almost everything last winter

With the victory, Näslund is now alone number one on the list of most World Cup victories, one ahead of the Swiss Fanny Smith.

- It feels good, but I know it will be a battle all season.

But it's fun, and I'm looking forward to future competitions, says Näslund.

Last season Näslund won eleven out of twelve World Cup competitions, and also the Olympics in Beijing.
