THE ESSENTIAL
The round of 16 ended on Tuesday evening with Portugal's card against Switzerland (6-1), and just before the resounding feat of Morocco (0-0; 3-0 on penalties), fourth African nation in history to join the quarterfinals of the World Cup.
We therefore now know the posters for these four quarter-finals, which will start on Friday (4 p.m.) with Brazil-Croatia.
Even without a match, we will still have plenty to tell you.
We will follow in particular the news of the Blues, who will play them Saturday (8 p.m.) against the English selection.
We are thus awaiting the latest news concerning Kylian Mbappé, who did not train on Tuesday (without concern however).

The World Cup continues in Qatar, and we continue to make you live the competition early in the morning with in particular the turmoil of the Spanish elimination, the monstrous fiesta in Morocco and the card of Portugal against Switzerland without Cristiano Ronaldo.
That makes things to dissect today, and we think especially of Fernando Santos who will be harassed until the quarter-finals to find out if CR7 can return to his team.
Afterwards, it's always easier to justify yourself when you've won 6-1... We're also going to talk about the Blues of course, who are quietly preparing their quarter-final against England, scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m.
