Mohanad Jeahze came to Hammarby from Mjällby in the summer of 2020 and quickly took care of the left back spot.
The season that was was marked by eternal transfer rumours.
- Since Mohanad was close to a move this summer but we then chose to prioritize an Allsvenskan top position, we were prepared that he would probably leave in this window, says Hammarby's sporting director Jesper Jansson to the club's website.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal with DC United, with an option for another year.
The team is coached by English attacking icon Wayne Rooney.
In total, there were 61 Allsvenskan matches for Jeahze in Hammarby, where he also won the Swedish Cup.
Backen has four international caps for Iraq on the merit list.
