Japan clings to Moriyasu's survival.. Contract extension for two years

The Spanish newspaper AS revealed that the Japanese Football Association is not considering sacking coach Hajime Moriyasu after the “Samurai” exit from the round of 16 in the 2022 World Cup.

It stated that the Football Association is considering making a new offer for the national team coach, especially since the Japanese national team appeared at a very impressive level during World Cup 2022, when he managed to oust Germany from the group stage and beat Spain, before embarrassing Croatia in the round of sixteen match, which ended with the "computer" leaving the tournament.

It revealed that the Japan Football Association intends to renew coach Hajime Moriyasu's contract for two seasons, with the possibility of extending it for another two years.

Moriyasu showed himself at his best after defeating the German national team in the first matches of Japan in the 2022 World Cup group stage, then defeating Spain, which made him top the overall standings, with heroic performance and a tactical approach that was able to disrupt the "machines" and remove "La Roja" from the front.
