Takayasu advanced to the championship match on the 27th of last month at the Chiaki Raku in Kyushu, and when he lost to Aen in a smash, he collapsed on the ring and could not get up for a while.



Takayasu submitted a medical certificate to the Japan Sumo Association by the 5th, and was diagnosed with "traumatic lumbar syndrome", which is expected to take about a month to fully recover from the day of the final performance.



Takayasu is absent from the winter tour of sumo wrestling this month.
