Röiseland away until January: "Health is most important"

Last year, Röiseland won the biathlon world cup.

It has been more difficult this year as the Norwegian was unable to compete at the beginning of this season.

The reason is that the 31-year-old had problems with shingles and missed several months of training.

Now the Norwegian Biathlon Federation announces that she will be gone for a while longer.

Specifically until January.

"This is of course very boring, and not something I want.

Most of all, I want to compete with the rest of the team.

But the body is still not where it should be, and after all, health is most important.

My focus is to perform strongly in the WC and then I get to take the time I need," says Röiseland in the press release.
