Lewandowski receives a new shock after Poland's exit from the World Cup

Today, Monday, the Spanish Football Federation announced the outcome of Barcelona's appeal against the penalty of its Polish star, Robert Lewandowski.

The federation decided to punish Lewandowski by suspending him for 3 matches, after he was expelled from the Catalan team’s meeting with its host Osasuna, in the 14th round of the Spanish League, which ended in favor of the Blaugrana (2-1).

The Spanish Federation rejected Barcelona's appeal, and the 3-match ban was confirmed, so that Barca would miss the services of the Polish star, in the matches between Espanyol, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis, scheduled after the end of the 2022 World Cup.
