The Chief of Operations of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Jassim Al-Jassem, expressed his great happiness at the unprecedented public attendance at the tournament, which is being held for the first time in the Arab world and the Middle East region.

Al-Jassem said in statements yesterday that the number of public attendance in this version far exceeds many previous versions of the World Cup tournaments.

Pointing out that the number of attendees at the end of the group stage meetings, which witnessed the holding of 48 matches in eight groups, reached nearly two and a half million fans, which is a large number and a high attendance rate exceeding more than 51 thousand fans per match.

Al-Jassem explained that with the continuation of the matches and the remaining matches of the championship until the final on December 18, it is expected that the number will reach a huge number in terms of audience attendance, and the tournament will indeed be exceptional in everything.

Al-Jassem expressed his complete satisfaction with the organizing committee regarding the organizational matters related to the World Cup so far, stressing that planning for the World Cup has been going on for years and continues until now, and the infrastructure has been equipped in the best possible way, in order to be a catalyst for the fans coming to Qatar to enjoy the tournament.
