Rebecca Peterson hasn't had one of her best years on the WTA Tour, falling to 136th on the WTA Tour.

But now she has achieved a welcome success.

Tonight she won in two straight sets (6–3, 6–1) against Croatia's Ana Konjuh (ranked 117 in the world) in the semifinals of the Andorra Open.

Has two WTA titles

Thus, tomorrow she gets to play her first final on the WTA tour in over three years, when she faces the 134-ranked American Alycia Parks.

The last time Peterson played a WTA final was in October 2019, when she won the Tianjin Open after a final victory against Heather Watson.

Even her first WTA final, in Chinese Jiangxi the month before the victory in Tianjin, was a victory.
