Kim Kalicki also won the second World Cup race in 2-man bobsleigh.

The woman from Wiesbaden shone with brakewoman Leonie Fiebig in Park City with the fastest time and after the second round, like at the start in Whistler, was able to climb to the top of the podium.

"I put down two solid runs," said 25-year-old Kalicki after her fifth World Cup win.

Despite problems with her muscles, she took the full risk at the start: "I thought to myself: Either it lasts or it goes 'bang'." That should pay off.

Laura Nolte (Winterberg), two-time Olympic champion from Beijing, was "happy" with second place despite "exaggerated problems" with her rib and thus made the outstanding German result perfect.

Kaillie Humphries from the USA was third.

For the two-time Olympic champion, it was the second podium finish of the weekend after winning the monobob.

Lisa Buckwitz (Oberhof), who finished second on Friday and was the first German monobob pilot to achieve a podium finish in the World Cup, started the second run with the best time and completed the strong German team result with fourth place.
