Villa had slightly more clear chances, among other things Christoffer Edlund missed a penalty, but Edsbyn stood up well in the summit meeting between first Villa and third Edsbyn.

Villa took the lead when Martin Johansson, as the last shooter, slotted in a right-hand corner for 3-2 with ten minutes remaining but just a minute later Vadim Arkhipkin equalized for Edsbyn by making it 3-3 just a minute later when he got the situation just in front of the goal.

Both teams happy with a point

- Villa have an advantage in the second half and we have to be satisfied with a point.

They have a lot of play in our half and we have to try to take advantage of our counterattacking positions.

However, we should have been able to establish more pressure on them, says Edsbyn's goalkeeper Henrik Karlström to Elitserien Live.

It was two good goalkeepers who kept the numbers down.

- It was a tough match but a very fun match to stand.

We are happy with a point and knew it would be a tough match, says Villa's goalkeeper Anton Johansson to Elitserien Live.

Directly in the second half, Villa equalized to make it 2-2.

Erik Säfström played the ball in to Joel Broberg, who wiggled to the left and pulled the ball in.

Edlund missed a penalty when leading 1-0

It took just over half an hour before the score was broken in the indoor hall.

Johan Löfstedt found the shooting king Christoffer Edlund with a long opening pass in the depth.

Edlund skilfully picked the ball down and cut in 1-0 for Villa and extended the lead in the shooting league to 19 goals.

A couple of minutes later, Edsbyn equalized when Oscar Wikblad made it 1-1.

Just before the break, Edsbyn scored 2-1.

Christian Mickelsson got free and the ball bounced away from him.

Ted Hedell took over and whipped the ball in.

- I didn't make it to the front but came in behind and it went well, says Mickelsson.

Just before, Edlund had missed a penalty for Villa.
