Happy news for the Moroccan national team fans before facing Canada

Moroccan national football team coach Walid Rekragui confirmed today in Doha that Sevilla's Spanish goalkeeper Yassine Bono is ready to face Canada tomorrow in the third and final round of Group F competitions in the Qatar World Cup.

"Yassin is in good condition, he was suffering from some problems, he was unable to play and he did not play, and there is another player who entered in his place and gave a great performance, and this shows the prevailing spirit within our ranks," Rekragui said in response to a question by Agence France-Presse at a press conference on the eve of the match.

Bono was in the starting line-up for the match against Belgium (2-0). He went through the warm-up period and stood with his teammates during the playing of the national anthem, but he felt dizzy after that, so Al-Rakraki decided not to risk his participation and pushed the Saudi goalkeeper Munir Al-Qajwi Al-Muhammadi in his place.

"Yassin's health has improved. He remains the first goalkeeper in the national team and one of its leaders, and he will be ready for tomorrow's match," Rekragui added.

Bono had explained to France Presse after the Belgium match, "I am in good shape. I had an injury from the Croatia match. I do not want to determine its type and it has renewed. I hope to be ready for the Canada match."

Bono trained normally on Monday and Tuesday, but the nature of the injury he suffered, which he refused to reveal, prompted more than one question mark to be raised about his readiness to compete in the Canada match, the gateway to qualifying for the final price round for the second time in its history after 1986.

Morocco shares the lead in Group F with four points, with a goal difference advantage for Luka Modric's comrades, by one point against third Belgium, while Canada came out empty-handed with two consecutive losses.

The Moroccan national team has its fate in its hands and will qualify in the three cases, winning, drawing and even losing if Belgium loses or if Croatia loses and the goal difference between them is in their favor, and if Belgium draws and the goal difference between them is in their interest.
