The World Cup season began on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, with distance races.

Then Martin Ponsiluoma was victorious in the men's race, while Hanna Öberg won the women's race in Kontiolahti.

On Thursday it is time for the first relay of the year.

For the men, it is the aforementioned Ponsilouma, who is joined by Peppe Femling, who rides first, Jesper Nelin on the second leg and Sebastian Samuelsson is responsible for the finish.

In other words, Ponsiluoma will be responsible for the third leg.

For the ladies, Linn Persson starts and it is then Anna Magnusson who replaces her.

Hanna Öberg goes as the third skater and Elvira Öberg is in charge of the finish.

This means that Stina Nilsson is out, after today's competition where she finished in 42nd place.

The men start at 11.00 on Thursday and the ladies start at 1.35.
