In Saturday's match between Frölunda and Linköping, Frölunda's Anders Borgman came in and gave Broc Little a knee tackle.

On Sunday, the decision came from the disciplinary board that Borgman is suspended for four games in the SHL, and also one game in the CHL because it is played during the suspension.

Borgman chose to appeal to the National Sports Board, which has now come up with its decision.

"I believe, according to the above, that the four-game suspension is not a correct decision, but still want to get clarity on which four games the suspension applies to if the disciplinary committee's decision stands firm and for what period of time.

I cannot accept an extra match's suspension due to a formality error," writes Borgman in the appeal to the National Sports Committee.

Now comes the decision that RIN shortens the punishment, the suspension applies until December 6th and will apply for four games, instead of five as earlier.

"In order that the suspension should not be more extensive than what has been intended, RIN decides to change the Disciplinary Committee's decision in such a way that the suspension applies until December 6, 2022," RN writes in its decision.
