Hansi Flick and his colleague Luis Enrique have a "rendezvous" for the World Cup final in Qatar.

“We dated for the finals like we were a couple.

Half jokingly, half seriously, we said: we'll see each other again on December 18th.

Hopefully it will come true, ”reported the Spanish national coach on his Twitch channel on Monday evening.

The conversation Luis Enrique was referring to took place on the sidelines after the 1-1 draw between the German national soccer team and the 2010 World Champion on Sunday at the al-Bayt Stadium.

Flick said afterwards that he did not want to disclose any details.

Both coaches have often assured each other of their mutual appreciation in the past.

Luis Enrique (52) once again praised Flick's team.

“No one will doubt that Germany can reach the final.

Germany is always a benchmark,” he said.

Jamal Musiala in particular has done it to him.

"He's still very young, but he already has a lot of quality," said the former international about the Bayern Munich professional: "I know him well, but he surprised me and impressed me.

I liked him very much.

In his style, he resembles our young players.”

The Spanish Selección can secure group victory in the final game on Thursday against Japan (20:00 CET, in the FAZ live ticker for the soccer World Cup and on MagentaTV).

At the same time, the DFB team is challenged against Costa Rica (8 p.m. CET, in the FAZ live ticker for the soccer World Cup, on ARD and on MagentaTV), has to win this game and is also dependent on the support of the Iberians to advance to the preliminary round to survive.
