“We dated for the finals like we were a couple.
Half jokingly, half seriously, we said: we'll see each other again on December 18th.
Hopefully it will come true, ”reported the Spanish national coach on his Twitch channel on Monday evening.
The conversation Luis Enrique was referring to took place on the sidelines after the 1-1 draw between the German national soccer team and the 2010 World Champion on Sunday at the al-Bayt Stadium.
Flick said afterwards that he did not want to disclose any details.
Both coaches have often assured each other of their mutual appreciation in the past.
Luis Enrique (52) once again praised Flick's team.
