Ahmed from Gävle receives this year's "My coach"

Every year Lilla Sportspegeln awards the prize "My trainer".

The award exists to recognize youth coaches and leaders around the country.

When the prize was to be awarded for the fifth year in a row, over 300 nominations were received.

Nine-year-old Theo's nomination meant that the prize ended up with floorball and soccer coach Ahmed Sabra from Gävleklubben GGIK.

In his nomination, Theo wrote, among other things:

"Ahmed sees us in the team, each one of us, he motivates us and teaches us a lot.

It was thanks to Ahmed that I dared to try playing floorball"

"I'm passionate about feeling this joy"

34-year-old Ahmed Sabra has coached GGIK's youth team for six years and strives to be a good role model.

- I am passionate about feeling this joy, when you have shown something and it is going well.

It's worth it every day of the week, says Sabra.
