This should put a little butter in the spinach for the amateur football clubs of Montpellier (Hérault).

The municipality, which has decided not to broadcast the matches of the World Cup in Qatar, which it considers "critical on many aspects, ecological, economic, human", announced that it was donating "the equivalent of the cost installation of a giant screen" at twelve Montpellier clubs.

These associations, however affiliated with the French Football Federation (FFF), will share 30,000 euros, or a check for 2,500 euros each.

Among the clubs concerned by these gifts before the hour, there are Atlas Paillade, AS Celleneuve, AS Croix d'Argent, FC Pas du Loup, Les Arceaux, 3MTKD, Paillade Mercure, l 'ASPTT Montpellier, or the Lunaret Stadium.

A gesture, indicates the municipality, which aims to "thus promote training, popular, local football, so dear to Montpellier"
