Sadibou Sy controlled the game, at least initially.
Dilano Taylor had a hard time getting close to his Swedish opponent who landed some nice hits in the first round.
The second round was not as eventful, but it was still a clear advantage for Sy, who got his opponent where he wanted without having to move too much.
The third round was even more even and towards the end of the match it heated up as Taylor started to land more and more hits.
It really looked like a million dollars was at stake.
Sy who won the first two rounds clearly started to get a little cautious and invited his opponent into the match.
However, it would appear that he was in full control of the event – despite it being the first time he had gone five rounds.
When the three judges' decision was announced, it was unanimous, 49–46, 49–46 and 49–46.
- I had trained for five rounds even though I had wanted to finish the match earlier.
But he came well prepared and showed good stamina, hats off to him.
