The Oranje and the Ecuadorians will therefore play for a qualification in the round of 16 with Senegal on the last day of the group stage.
This result also condemns Qatar: with 0 points on the clock, the host country will not be able to finish 2nd in its group, even in the event of a victory against the Netherlands in the last match.
