The 18-year-old Russian woman showed a time of 2 minutes 14.70 seconds and broke the European record (2:15.21) at this distance, which belonged to Danish Rikka Pedersen.
Second place went to Vitalina Simonova (2:19.19), Nika Godun finished third (2:19.94).
Earlier, swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov set a world record in the 50m backstroke.
