The Taegeuk Warriors faced the mighty Uruguay fearlessly and, above all, gained great confidence.

Let's take a look again from the fierce game scene.

Despite the evaluation that the national team was one step below, rather, they led the game from the beginning.

In the 26th minute of the first half, captain Son Heung-min, wearing a mask, dug into the left flank quickly, easily overtaking two players to Valverde, and chilled Uruguay's conversation with a sharp right-footed kick.

This scene in the 34th minute left a lasting impression.

Kim Moon-hwan saw an empty spot and stabbed it well, but Hwang Eui-jo's non-stop shot right in front of the goal flew over the goalpost and missed a decisive scoring opportunity.

The national team overcame the risk of conceding a dizzying goal in the 43rd minute of the first half.

Uruguay Valverde's corner kick missed defender Godin, but luckily the header hit the left post and swept his chest.

Cho Kyu-seong and Lee Kang-in, who were substituted in the 28th minute of the second half, showed good teamwork as soon as they entered.

Receiving a sharp pass from Lee Kang-in, Cho Kyu-seong threatened the Uruguayan goal with a left-footed turning shot.

Uruguay tried their best to score a goal, but in the 44th minute of the second half, Valverde's mid-range shot hit the post again, leaving a bitter taste for the two bad luck at the goal.

When the final whistle blew 0-0, all of our players, who poured all their energy into it, lay down on the ground.
