A terrible shock with serious consequences.

Saudi Arabia defender Yasser Al-Shahrani underwent pancreas surgery in a hospital in Riyadh following the horrific collision with his goalkeeper in the 2-1 victory over Argentina at this World Cup 2022.

As reported by the Tyc Sports site, the defender suffers from a broken jaw, concussion and internal damage to the chest and abdomen.

The player posted a message on his social networks: “I want to reassure you about my state of health, I am better.

Don't forget to pray for me.

Congratulations on the victory.

Thanks.
