His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the Saudi national team after its victory over its Argentine counterpart 2-1 in the match that brought them together, yesterday, in the FIFA World Cup “Qatar 2022”.

His Highness said on his Twitter account: "A well-deserved victory... combative performance... Arab joy... congratulations to the Saudi national team... who made us happy, entertained, and delighted."

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, said: "Congratulations to Al-Akhdar.. Congratulations to Saudi Arabia.. Congratulations to all Arabs."

The Saudi national team had shone against Argentina and fought for the historic victory that brought the "Green Falcons" closer to qualifying for the second round.
