The teams kept pace until the sixth round when Sweden showed an uneven game and Switzerland moved to 5-2.

- Their skipper puts in a real super hit.

Difficult to defend against that, says Rasmus Wranå.

Even in the seventh, the Swedish team stood for a completely unsuccessful stone and the disappointment was clear after Daniel Magnusson drenched the broom in the ice.

But they took a little chance and still took a point in that round.

In the eighth round, Switzerland was back on the winning track and went up 7-3.

Sweden kept the match alive all the way to the last round, but ultimately lost 7-6.

The loss means that Sweden, with Oskar Eriksson as substitute skipper, has three losses and one win in the EC.

All teams meet everyone and then the top four go to the playoffs.

- It is not a good conclusion, at the same time we know which opponents they have had.

What's happening is that every game now has to be won.

There will be must-matches now, says Eva Lund.

The expert suffers especially with Daniel Magnusson who replaced the injured star Niklas Edin.

- I suffer a little with Daniel.

He doesn't reach the level he needs to.

I think it is extra heavy for him as he is the one who has stepped in after Niklas' injury, says Lund.

Niklas Edin, regular skipper, sat in the stands and watched his team lose.
