A large number of Arabic content makers interacted through various social media platforms with mass events on the occasion of the State of Qatar hosting the 2022 World Cup, and many of them praised the country's efforts in organizing the global event, stressing that the dream has become a clear reality for the world.

Activists considered that the inaugural event presented by Qatar is a source of pride for every Arab who is proud of his heritage, customs and traditions, considering that the world has begun to learn about the Arab countries, saying, "Finally, the dream of all Arabs and the Arab World Cup has begun."

Palestinian flag

In videos documented by a number of activists, the Palestinian flag was present at the opening activities of the 2022 World Cup, which took place in the Qatari capital, Doha, at the World Cup stadium.

Syrian blogger Osama Al-Naasan published a video in which he documented the emergence of a state of celebration and jubilation in the Al-Bayt stadium, considering that the Arab dream had become a reality, saying, "For the first time in the world, the shemagh and the Arab tent open the World Cup activities."

The Palestinian activist from Gaza, Ahmed Hijazi, documented the moment he raised the Palestinian flag and waved it, to be surprised by the presence of a group next to him that started chanting the song “On my promise to my religion,” commenting, “The sweetest coincidence in the sweetest country.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice President of the UAE, praised the opening of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, describing it as "historic moments," and said that "Doha will be the capital of world sports and constitute Gulf pride."

Security tribute

Despite the huge attendance, some praised the security and safety, which was evident in the organization of the events, as the Venezuelan activist and YouTuber Veronica Castro attached a video clip on her Instagram account showing the security and safety of organizing the FIFA World Cup 2022 events in Qatar.

In the video, she said that she had lost her wallet, but was surprised that it was returned to her while she was attending the events. Commenting on the video, Castro wrote, "This is why I love Qatar. Thank you very much to everyone."

Earlier, the Canadian YouTuber praised the organization and safety in Qatar during the World Cup activities through a video in which he left his valuables, such as a wallet, a laptop, and an unlocked car with windows open in public places, only to return after several hours and find it intact.
