In Iran, protests have been going on throughout the autumn and they started when Mahsa Amini, 22, was killed by the Iranian morality police.

That after she refused to cover her hair with a hijab.

Now some Iranians are in place at the World Cup in Qatar to continue those protests there.

- We just want to say that we want freedom in our country.

Something bad has happened in our country.

We want to be free, we want freedom.

WE are here just for that, not for our national team.

We are here for Mahsa Amini and the many men and women who have died in our country, says one woman and continues:

- We expect people to say something and show anger against our regime.

We don't want them.

We just want freedom.

A male supporter fills in:

- There are very confusing feelings when you are here.

When you think about what is happening in Iran.

We are here to be a voice for our people, he says.

Although a lot of the national team players have shown their support for those protesting, he is not happy with how they have acted.

- I think they should act better and be a voice for the Iranian people.

It is very upsetting that they are not.

I think many people think they don't represent the people, he says.
