What did the Egyptian coach say after the victory over Belgium?

Portuguese Roy Vittoria, coach of the Egyptian national team, said that the "Pharaohs" victory over Belgium (2-1) on Friday is not the only gain from the friendly confrontation.

Vitoria added in a press conference after the match: "The victory has a special taste over a competitor who has all the ingredients and solutions."

He continued, "The players succeeded greatly in implementing what was asked of them, and the teamwork and maturity shown by the team was not easy."

The Portuguese coach touched on the brilliance of more than one player, in addition to Mohamed Salah, saying: “Salah is a distinguished player, and there is more than one distinguished player in the Egyptian national team, and the team plays team football.”

Vittoria expressed his satisfaction with the physical condition of the Egyptian national team players, noting that "the opportunity to qualify for the World Cup will be available in the future."

And he continued, "The Niger and Liberia matches were to prepare for strong matches like Belgium, which is natural to get to know the players."

It is noteworthy that Egypt failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, and is now preparing for the upcoming events, most notably the qualifiers for the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
