The premiere with the giant slalom in Sölden snowed away for the ladies four weeks ago.

Instead, the season began with a slalom in Levi.

Sara Hector was the eleventh rider out on the hill and came down with the sixth best time, 1.08 seconds behind leader Lena Dürr.

Directly after Hector, it was time for Anna Swenn-Larsson, who was half a second faster and came in with the second best time, 0.45 seconds behind the German Dürr.

When 30 riders had run, Swenn-Larsson was still second and had, among others, Mikaela Shiffrin and Perta Vlhova behind her.

Sara Hector was then in joint seventh place.
