In the second race, Sara Hector was the first out of the Swedes and she managed her lead and finished in the lead.

Hanna Aronsson Elfman made a good second run, but could not keep the same pace as Hector, so the 19-year-old finished with the third best time.

Hector fell off the podium after Wendy Holdener, Ana Bucik and Petra Vlhova got past.

After that, three skaters remained: Mikaela Shiffrin, Anna Swenn-Larsson and Lena Dürr.

Shiffrin was responsible for a really sharp ride and became the new leader in front of Vlhova.

Anna Swenn-Larsson had a one-tenth advantage over Shiffrin and drove evenly with the American sovereign.

But in the end, Shiffrin was too fast, so Swenn-Larsson slipped 0.16 seconds behind in second.

Lena Dürr had a clear lead before the last run, but could not manage it and missed the podium completely.

Anna Swenn-Larsson thus took the eighth podium of her career in the World Cup, while Sara Hector finished seventh and 19-year-old Hanna Aronsson Elfman was ninth.
