Mostafa Mohamed took advantage of Kevin De Bruyne's mistake in front of the penalty area to open the scoring for Egypt, led by Mohamed Salah, in its 2-1 victory over Belgium in a friendly match at Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium in Kuwait today, Friday.

Egypt's victory is the fourth in the history of its confrontations against Belgium, which is preparing to play in the World Cup in Qatar next week, in exchange for one defeat.

The match started with pressure from Belgium, and in the fifth minute, the referee went to the video screen to make sure that a penalty kick was awarded after a handball on Ahmed Hegazy after his intervention on Michy Batshuayi, but he indicated that the play would continue.

Then Batshuayi hit a close-range ball that hit the crossbar, before the replay showed the offside of the Belgian striker.

But the Egyptian response came quickly, and in the tenth minute, Mohamed Salah sent a cross to Mahmoud Hassan (Trezeguet), who controlled it and hit a powerful ball that Thibaut Courtois pushed away.

Trezeguet almost scored Egypt's first goal in the 20th minute, after receiving a wonderful pass from Mohamed Elneny, but he hit Courtois' body.

De Bruyne gag

In the 33rd minute, Mostafa Mohamed took advantage of De Bruyne's mistake, the Manchester City playmaker, who failed to control the ball on the edge of the penalty area, so that the French Nantes striker extracted the ball and fired successfully to the left of Courtois.

With the start of the second half, Salah repeated his cooperation with Trezeguet in the 46th minute, and sent him a through behind the defense, so that the Trabzonspor wing beat Toby Alderweireld and fired with his left into Courtois' goal.

In the 55th minute, Luis Obenda fell in the penalty area, but the referee ordered play to resume.

Salah returned the game with the second goal with Trezeguet in the 66th minute, but the ball reached Courtois.

Openeda narrowed the deficit in the 76th minute, after turning Yannick Carrasco's cross from the left side into Mohamed El-Shennawy's goal.

After a period of calm in the events of the match, Ahmed Sayed Zizou kicked off from the right side and passed to Salah, who hit a ball that passed next to Courtois' right post in the 87th minute.
