Announcing the Emirates Airline Rugby Sevens tournament schedule

The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, one of the rounds of the HSBC World Series of Rugby Sevens, has announced the schedule of matches and stadiums that will host the tournament, which will be held on December 2 and 3 during the festival, which begins on December 1.

The men’s competitions include the participation of 16 teams, with four teams each playing on a separate court, while the women’s competitions will witness the participation of 12 teams distributed over three courts.

The first stadium in the men's competition hosts Australia, the world's first, South Africa, Britain and Kenya, while the second stadium witnesses strong matches between Fiji, the gold medalist in the Olympic Games, Argentina, New Zealand and Uruguay, and the third stadium hosts France, which ranks first. Third, Ireland, Spain and Uganda, while Samoa, the United States, Canada and Japan compete for the fourth court.

The women's teams are fighting strong competitions on the first court between Australia, the United States, Canada and China, while France, New Zealand, Britain and Brazil play in the second court, and Fiji, Ireland, Spain and Japan in the third court.

The matches are divided between two separate stadiums and will start at 9 am UAE time on Friday, December 2, next, where Ireland and Spain will compete in the women’s category on the third stadium.

The Sevens Stadium will host the women's final on Saturday, December 3 at 6:56 pm, and the men's final at 7:26 pm.

The 2022 edition of the championship promises the audience an experience full of entertainment activities for children and youth, and pavilions including the new Hobbs and Food Market, the friendly party tent for teams, and the new theater, "The House".

The festival is also witnessing an increase in participation in sports activities, especially with the addition of the Wodon 3 Fitness Competition, an exclusive competition that hosts elite fitness experts and junior athletes aspiring to improve their levels.

This is in addition to the sevens and decathlon competitions, rugby and netball, presented by Nakheel Community Management Company, and cricket, provided by Dulsco, with the participation of male and female athletes from 32 countries.
