Degerfors has two points down to the qualifying spot and Varberg ahead of the final round of the Allsvenskan.

A draw away to Malmö is most likely enough to secure a new contract for next season, Varberg has -27 in goal difference before their meeting with Sirius while Degerfors has -17.

- It is a wonderful position, we have fought hard for it for many weeks to end up there.

And now, as I said, we have everything in our own hands.

That's the only thing we can focus on as well, says Degerfors coach Tobias Solberg in Fotbollsstudion.

He and Andreas Holmberg share the coaching assignment in Degerfors.

That started incredibly weak this year with six straight losses, the second team this century together with Örgryte who opened with six straight defeats, and expert Daniel Nannskog believed that the duo should be fired.

But Degerfor's patience was better and the team, which was strengthened this summer, started to pick up points and victories.

The most impressive was the 3–0 win at home against Djurgården.

"Didn't have the luggage"

- At the beginning we got off to a really bad start, we found stability.

We brought in new players who didn't have that baggage from the beginning of the season and with points the confidence grows and we have played better, says Tobias Solberg.

The confidence in the coaches remained and expert Daniel Nannskog has puddled.

- Good thing you didn't fire the coaches.

You play really good football and can be very proud, he says.

The 30th round of Allsvenskan 2022 kicks off at 15.00 on Sunday 6 November.

Degerfors visits Malmö and qualifying competitor Varberg plays away to Sirius.
