China News Agency, Beijing, November 6th (Xing Chong Hao Lingyu) The 2022 Beijing Marathon will be fired on the 6th. This top domestic marathon event will start again after two years of suspension.

Founded in 1981, the North Marathon is the oldest marathon in mainland China and is known as the "National Horse".

Affected by the epidemic, the Beijing Marathon will be suspended in 2020 and 2021.

This year is the 40th event in North Malaysia, and it is also the first large-scale mass sports event held in Beijing after the Beijing Winter Olympics.

This year, North Malaysia has basically followed the classic route, starting at Tiananmen Square and ending at the Olympic Park Landscape Avenue.

The scale of the competition is more than 20,000 people. Players and staff need to declare their personal health status and complete the whole course of vaccination 7 days before the competition. The competition result certificate will only be obtained after the players complete the nucleic acid test 48 hours after the competition. Anti-epidemic regulations such as non-gathering are also required.

From 5:30 in the morning, the contestants entered Tiananmen Square, the starting point one after another.

On the 6th, the temperature in Beijing was below 10 degrees Celsius in the morning. After verifying the health information and security check, the players entered their respective starting areas and conducted three pre-match warm-ups under the leadership of the leader.

At about 7:30, the Beijing Marathon fired, and the runners cheered and ran across the starting line.

Although there is a lack of foreign elite players to participate in this event, the organizing committee has invited domestic professional players to participate as specially invited athletes.

In the men's competition, He Jie, Yang Chunlong, Sun Xiaoyang and Anubaike Kuwan quickly formed the first echelon and stood out from the main team early.

About 30 kilometers, Sun Xiaoyang and He Jie left behind, Anubaike Kuwan left Yang Chunlong to lead again, and the last 10 kilometers became his "performance" alone.

In the end, the player from Xinjiang won the championship in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 34 seconds. Yang Chunlong and He Jie won the second and third place in 2 hours, 19 minutes and 11 seconds and 2 hours, 21 minutes and 26 seconds respectively.

In the women's competition, Xia Yuyu, Li Yingmei, and Wang Min led the entire race. In the last 2 kilometers, Xia Yuyu showed a better competitive state. She left her opponent and led the race alone. She crossed the finish line first in 2 hours, 28 minutes and 57 seconds, creating the best result in a personal marathon. .

Li Yingmei and Wang Min then crossed the line.

It is worth mentioning that Xia Yuyu is a graduate student from Tsinghua University, and she was the runner-up in the women's 10,000 meters in the National Games last year.

This is also the first time in 20 years that Chinese players have swept the men's and women's championships in North Malaysia.

Anubaike Kuwan said after the race that he finally released himself on the Beijing track today, and the championship means a lot to him.

"As Chinese marathon runners, we will continue to work hard to create a better answer sheet that belongs to us."

For amateur runners, finishing the race is the best ranking. There are leaders on the track and citizens cheering on the track.

Wu Xiuqin, a Beijing citizen in her 60s, said that she specially brought her wife to watch the game.

"We are too old to participate in high-intensity sports, but cheering for the players, we can also feel the charm of national sports up close!" (End)
